We started selling traditional bamboo products as a street vendor in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, in 1910. With manufacturers throughout Kyushu, we expanded our business nationwide as a wholesaler, and in 1972, we visited China for the first time. We were one of the first companies to start trading overseas. We later expanded our trade with companies in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, which created a stable livelihood for our producers and helped Japan foster friendly relationships with those countries. As a general manufacturer of craft baskets, we helped ignite the boom in Asian goods. We now offer a wide range of products, including flower-related items, storage baskets, household goods, baskets for miscellaneous interior goods, and table jewelry. We continue to develop products that meet the needs of our customers' daily lives and lead the basket industry by meticulously inspecting all incoming products to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality products.
